20 different Warblers have been seen & heard the last 2 days
Special note
Warblers
Connecticut -Lake Trail
N Parula-Goldenrod Trail-1st & 2nd loop
Wilson-Goldenrod Trail-2nd loop
Blackburian-Parking Lot-pipeline cut
Black-throated Blue-Lake Trail-male & female
Gold-winged -Parking Lot-pipeline cut, Lake Trail
In the morning(7:30 am to 9:00 am), the
Nature Center parking lot, beginning of Sugarbush Trail, & the Goldenrod
Trail-1st & 2nd loop are the places to be
After these trails, the Lake Trail is good
including Thoreau Lake. Then go the Hickory Ridge Trail & the beginning of
Brookside Trail
Then if you have time I would do the Lake
Trail again
Nature Center Bird Viewing Area-The sun
starts hitting the area around 10:00 am. It is always a good idea to check
out this area as you pass by the Nature Center.Also in the evening,
starting
around 4:00 pm, this area is good
. You may see the Warblers & other birds taking a bath.
