Great birding day. Traveled on county roads east of Fremont in NW Ohio to 
Castalia Pond, then back. Hiked through woodlots at observed in car. Many 
Tree Sparrows and Horned Larks. Here's the tally in 3 hours, traveling 27 
miles:

*Red-bellied Woodpecker = 1
*Downy Woodpecker = 2
*Mourning Dove = 9
*Song Sparrow = 2
*Carolina Wren = 2
*White-breasted Nuthatch = 1
*Dark-eyed Junco = 15
*Blue Jay = 3
*Coopers Hawk = 1
*Cardinal = 8
*Bald Eagle = 5
*Horned Lark = 55+
*Tree Sparrow = 49+
*E. Starling = 50
*Red-tail Hawk = 3
*Canada Goose = 570 (One had light-colored neckband, No. OK3U)
*Belted Kingfisher = 1
*Bufflehead = 8 (7 males, 1 female)
*Black Duck = 5
*Mallard = many
*N. Shoveler = 13
*Lesser Scaup = 4
*Am. Widgeon = 2
*N. Harrier = 1
*Kestrel = 2
*Goldfinch = 15
