Just had an immature Northern Goshawk hunting over the intersection of 422 and Rt. 91 (SOM) in Solon. Headed north, northeast. Just over the trees. Large, strong-flying - absolutely a wonderful sight! Though I've seen at least three of these birds, this was the first one I've been comfortable enough to tick on my life list.....YES!!!!!!!! Dave English, Chagrin Falls. Likely I will make fewer Oct-Nov visits to Detroit Metroparks Southeast Michigan Raptor Research site - hi to Calvin - probably only three or four more this year!
