Julie and I visited the northern part of Buck Creek State Park this morning.
The weather was just about freezing with a few snow flurries. We saw no
warblers but we did see a few birds. There was a male Wild Turkey displaying
to a female. Then we saw a Barred Owl land near us for a minute. The
American White Pelicans are still near the north end of the lake and we
counted 10 today. We initially found two on April 1 and they have been
reported regularly since then.
