Fellow twitchers,

Linda, vicki and I just had two ravens fly over our Perry county property. They were in a small kettle of turkey vultures, but gave themselves away by “cronking ” repeatedly as they drifted south over Clouse lake. Their wedged tails and size helped, too, but it was the call that drew our attention. They were recorded!! They were yard bird number 167!! And a state lifer for me, as well.
Also had a pair of Osprey fly over shortly after that, plus seven rusty blackbirds, northern parula, yellow rumpled, yellow throated, Louisiana Waterthrush. All in all, a good walk to the confluence.
