Dillon and others have mentioned the flooded fields at Russells Point. This is located along SR 720 where it intersects with US 33 just west of Russells Point and is a good birding area. It floods frequently, especially in the Spring and when the ground is already saturated. However, a word of caution. DO NOT try to drive on SR 720 unless the road is high and dry. The area can flood to a depth of several feet, sometimes six feet or more. Please be safe and enjoy the birds.
