This morning at Caesar's Creek, end of Harveysburg Road there were large
rafts of redheads, ring-necked ducks, scaup and goldeneye, with lesser
numbers of canvasbacks and buffleheads, a few horned grebes and *one
long-tailed duck, and at least one scoter*, which I think was a
white-winged, but could not be sure as I kept losing sight of it as it
dived and mixed with the rest of the raft. Standing on the ice near the
far shore in front the boat ramp were two adult bald eagles and an immature.
