I had this afternoon free. Was going to hit Butler county but the ducks were
Reported at Spring Valley in Warren. County bird - so off I went. Success! They
We’re cute - all lined up on a fallen log. Hopefully they stick around for those chasing
Monday. I love rarities - time to catch up with fellow birders! Learned that
The Stilt sandpiper was still in that flooded field in Greene county. So off we went!
Carrie and Bill R. Showed us the location. And how to bird it. Difficult with the

The field is already a lot drier. We had no rain here like it was forecasted. So the
Good flooded fields will dry up soon. Tylerville Rd. field in Butler was almost dry
For example. On the plus side of no rain - Ellis wetlands still has a lot of water to
Lose!
Fos barn swallow today. Spring valley. Fos pine and Black and white warbler at
Shawnee Forest yesterday. I need all this stuff in butler! The next three days
Will see me in butler. Probably just 1/2 day each day though. Lots to do around
The house.
