Hi Pat,
 
We have used only ACT scores for a number of years.  The only time we pay
attention to the SAT is when a transfer student has only the SAT.  We then
use the conversion formula and record it as a "converted ACT" score.  We
have adopted the ACT as our standard and use the individual scores to make
a number of decisions regarding English and math placements, for example.
 
Are you planning to attend the OAIR meeting in Oct.?
