We are working to put together an institutional research plan, a portion
of which will include identification of and appropriate followup with
students who have not declared majors.

Are the similar efforts at other institutions, and if so, are all
undeclared students targeted for followup, or is there a prioritization
within the overall undecided population? What are the followup methods
used (mail, e-mail, meetings and seminars, phone calls, etc.), and
which are the most effective?
