I recommend two different software packages depending upon your preference:
NUD*IST and Atlas/ti. Both are excellent for search/retrieval of
qualitative information and theory development. My preference is for
Atlas/ti because it utilizes a graphical interface and allows you to import
audio and/or video data.
There are, however, drawbacks to both. They are both expensive and
rather complicated for a beginner to learn.

Hi, can anyone recommend software to help with qualitative data analysis?
Has anyone had success analyzing unstructured data? I’ve never done it
before. Any advice, information or referral will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
