Good Afternoon,

I am looking for information regarding the Campus Fire Safety Right to
Know Act. The information I downloaded from Campus Firewatch indicates
this bill was introduced to federal legislation as S2108 on February 28,
2000.

The question I have is, does this bill (if passed into law) require all
institutions of higher education (including private institutions) to
provide information to the public regarding fire safety, or is the bill
limited to state affiliated schools?

My first thought is since the bill was before federal legislation, all
institutions will be required to provide the information (similar to the
sprinkler bill/law). Unfortunately it is not spelled out as such.

If there is anyone who has more information on this issue I would
appreciate the clarification. Any updates regarding this measure would
also be helpful.
                                    Thanks.
