Subject: Finalizing Groups

Dear Partners,

Hopefully last e-mail for Carol and myself. We have attached our near final partnership plan. Just three questions:

1) Patricia (Oklahoma), would you designate how you will split your Group 1 and 2?
2) Jo-Ann (UVIC), were you going to join Elaine (Truman) and Carol and I (UCLA)?
3) Matias (UNBC) and Jo-Ann (UVIC), were you going to join Enzo (Milano) and our UCLA group?

Rodney, what is the optimal size of the partnerships (5-7) or less?

Thank you

Adey

NING is available for Groups to organize, share information, and etc. Enzo, you or any Faculty Partner, can set up a Group. Students can do the same. Remember, however, if students create the groups, they should ensure that the Faculty Partner has access. This is why I encourage the Faculty Partners to establish these groups, that way they always have access.

Dear partners,
I've spoke with the three students who were unpaired (ex-Group 4), they ask to join Women's Rights group, if possible,
In that case, the final list for Milano groups would be as follow.
Tomorrow, may I give my students the email of their partners to let them start finalizing together their case studies, or it's better to open a group entry for each group on NING?

Dear Enzo, Matias and JoAnn,

Looks like we have a partnership with Poverty/hunger.

Milano - 3 students
UCLA - 2 students
UNBC - 2 students
UVIC - ?

By tomorrow, we should have the students connected. It would be wonderful if 3-4 students from each university can come together or some form of partnerships. We will inform you all tomorrow.

Enzo, I am not sure how to respond to your Group 4 issue other than your CS group joining with Local/Global Food Security. They are the least populated.

Hi Enzo,

We still have not heard about partnering for our Group 3CS on Poverty/Hunger. We need a partner by Tuesday so of there are no takers, we are interested in partnering.

Please let me know.

hi Jo-Anne, hi Emee
three students from Milano University are working together on Cultural difference and human rights with 4CS* at Keele and 2CS* at UVIC, it may be useful starting putting them in touch; the contacts for the italian students are:
Francesco Capuzzi ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>)
Patrizio Lodetti ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>)
Martina Pedretti ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>)

hi Elaine,
two students from Milano University are working together on Women's rights with group 8 at Truman, it may be useful starting putting them in touch; the contacts for the italian students are:
Simona Riganti ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>)
Ivana Novakovic ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) (but I'n not sure, she will participate)

there are three Milano students unpaired (their first choice was Worker rights, second choise was Alternative globalization), on tuesday, I'm proposing them to join the group Women's rights (maybe with a case study on women and work), do you think it will be possible (and useful)?
