Hello everyone
My name is Ozonnia. My last name is Ojielo. I am the president of an NGO,
the Centre for Conflict Resolution and Peace Advocacy, Lagos, Nigeria. I am
also the president of the Nigerian Association for Mediation, which is the
umbrella association for professional mediators in Nigeria. I teach conflict
resolution; negotiation and alternative dispute resolution at the Department
of Political Science of the Enugu State University of Science and
Technology, Enugu, Nigeria. I have degrees in History, Law and Political
Science.
I am also a consultant to the Department of Economic and Social Affairs,
UNHQ, and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva. I
have travelled to some countries in Africa on behalf of these two
institutions, training government representatives and civil society
organizations on conflict and human rights issues.
