Hello everyone,
First, thank you to everyone. There has been so much energy given to this
project, I am very excited to see where it leads.
I am attaching a table that indicates the content, groups, email contact
information for the issues that University of Victoria students are
working on.
Please let me know if there are any errors or omissions. I am missing
contact information for a few partnering institutions such as UNBC.
Some questions regarding faculty advisors.
1) I don't know if there is a system in place for determining which
faculty get attached to which groups.
if I have four groups, I am responsible for four working groups? I
thought I read a post that suggested that we work with groups where we
have students. Is that the case?
2) I have listed the faculty advisors for each topic on the table
attached.
How will we sort out who is the lead advisor, since we are often
partnering with three institutions or more?
3) Which faculty member is responsible for creating a discussion forum
for the groups?
4) Should all faculty advisors be invited to be members? When does it
become overwhelming for faculty?
5) What are the responsibilities of faculty advisors?
I think it would be useful to post the response /discussion to the faculty
forum group so that everyone can find the responses in a more systematic
fashion.
