The deadline for submissions to the Hall Prize has been extended to April 13, 2015.

The purpose of this competition is to foster advanced philosophical thinking and writing among students.
Please follow the guidelines below when submitting a paper for consideration:
1. Papers should concern some recognizable area of philosophy.
2. Papers should be submitted without your name.
3. Pages should be numbered.
4. The paper may be one which has been submitted for course work, but need not be.
5. Students must be currently enrolled as undergraduates to be eligible.
Students can enter the competition by submitting a paper (as an e-mail attachment, with Hall Prize in the subject heading) to: Professor Pascal Massie at <[log in to unmask]>

The award for best paper is $500.00. The Philosophy Department will announce the results of the contest prior to the end of the Spring Semester
