Hi,

I can see that your account was created. Your password is your normal Miami password.

Our system administrators will need to look at the details of this - they were copied on your original e-mail.

Subject: Unable to log in to the cluster

Hi,

I'm a masters student with the computer science department, attempting to get access to the cluster.

About two hours ago, Scott Campbell ([log in to unmask]) created an account for me on redhawk.hpc.muohio.edu, but I'm still unable to log in. I've tried both my LDAP password and my default (mmddssss) to no avail.

Below is a typical attempt:
> charnedn@easlnx01:~> ssh redhawk.hpc.muohio.edu The authenticity of
> host 'redhawk.hpc.muohio.edu (134.53.13.131)'
> can't be established.

I suspect the problem is related to the fact that my directory information is hidden (that's caused login troubles in the past). I'm more than happy to log in with a public key, if that makes things easier. I've attached one to this e-mail.

Thanks,
Dan

(P.S. I got this e-mail address from http://www.units.muohio.edu/mcs/ academictechnology/contact/index.shtml, sorry if it was the wrong one.)
