Hey gang - The Deliberative Communities group is getting together again
this Thursday, Sept. 25, at 7:00 p.m. in the Stoddard living room. Those
who attended last week were given copies of "Making Choices Together," a
booklet describing what the deliberative communities idea is all about.
Rhia Hamilton, Amy Watson and Ali Parand all attended the last meeting and
can give you an idea about what we're doing.
If you're concerned that more and more of your peers could care less about
government, if you're concerned that lack of information on the part of
citizens results in poor public policy, and if you fear that democracy
isn't working as it should, maybe this group can provide an option. Join
us for continued conversation about how to encourage more citizenship
participation right here and now at Miami.
Hope to see you then,
Denny
