FYI, I just spoke with Dr. Kay Faris from North College Hill Schools and they are looking for a full time elementary school psychology position starting in January. I told her I would pass this info on to you, in the event that you knew of someone looking for a job. Her contact information is below:

Hi Jamie:
As I mentioned, the student I am assigning is Maren Anderson. She is a terrific girl, a little quiet for my taste but I have noticed her coming out of her shell quite nicely this semester. She is running our ESL project, and is also our TA for EDP 201. So she knows how to handle responsibility.
Have a good weekend. Maren will be in touch shortly.
Kevin

Hi Everyone:
I am in the process of arranging for practicum supervisors for the upcoming spring semester. You have provided excellent experiences for our Miami University school psychology students in the past, and I would like to ask if you are interested once again. The requirements are precisely the same as in the past. Specifically, all students will be expected to spend approximately 30% of their time conducting one comprehensive intervention case and a PALS group (unless they are doing PALS at Living Water). The remaining 70% of their time will be spent assisting you with various roles and functions of a school psychologist, including at least one teacher or parent inservice. A range of school-wide, group, and individual assessment and intervention experiences is desired.
I am looking forward to teaching this course again, and will strive to make this experience as helpful and stimulating for you as it is for our students. As always, I will defer to your hectic schedules in matching a student to your most convenient available days.
You may certainly elect to pass this year, or possibly nominate one of your colleagues. We have only seven students in this cohort, so fewer placements will be needed. But I don't want to lose the connection - I will keep you on this list unless you tell me otherwise.
I hope you are doing well, and look forward to hearing from you.
Kevin
