Ella's surgery went very well yesterday. They didn't have to perform the
more invasive procedure (going into the dura), so we expect recovery to be
easier. Her day and night went well, with meds around the clock to
comfort her when in pain. We are scheduled to leave the ICU today for a
room on the neurosurgery floor. She is watching movies now and more than
anything a bit grumpy and mad at us for putting her through this! But, we
will get over that...as will she. We will continue to keep everyone
updated.

Katherine and Kevin
