Two items:
1 - By next Tuesday I need an approximation of how many folk will be
arriving at St. Rita's School for the Deaf where we have a visit planned for
Thursday, February 6. Would the tallest person in both the first and second
year group kindly let me know by next Tuesday AM (email, phone, voice, or
note) how many (plus or minus 1) folk from your group will be at St. Rita's.
Take exit 14 off I-75. The school, coming from Oxford, will be on
your right side. Plan to arrive by 8:15 (school starts at 8:00). We will take
a tour and then you will have the opportunity to work with students or a
teacher for as long as you wish. You should be able to amass at least 5 hours.
Please plan to spend the day, if you have the time.
2) We frequently get visited by applicants for next year's class. I would
like to hook them up with a student or two so they can get the "rest of the
story" while I provide them with the program outline. This Friday, 11:00, Ben
Clark will be visiting. If anyone has an hour or so to talk with him and
perhaps show him around, it would be appreciated. Please let me know.........
