WHO: ANYONE!!! (even friends from home)

WHAT: HABITAT for HUMANITY: WINTER BREAK IN FLORIDA Building Homes for underprivileged and having some relaxing fun

WHEN: JAN 4 TO JAN 10 (7 days)

HOW MUCH: $275.00, includes travel, lodging, most food (less than $40.00 a day)

EXPERIENCE: NONE!

Habitat for Humanity needs help filling one of our winter break trips (otherwise we take $1000.00 hit and it could hinder our building a new home in Oxford and the family for the home is already picked out!), below are the details...it is a great opportunity for philanthropy and after 2 or 3pm you are free most days to enjoy the nightlife, local attractions, shopping, beach, whatever you want to do...If you have any questions just ask!

Week-long trips:

Each trip gives students the opportunity to help build homes for underprivileged for 4 or 5 work days. The day usually consists of going to the work site at about 8am and returning between 2 and 4pm depending on the site. After that the rest of the day is free to you to do things like go to the beach, go to some local attractions, go out to eat or out on the town etc. Usually the sites provide one free day in which they have an event for you to go on like canoing, but sometimes an event is not planned and collectively as a group you can decide what to do. The cost for the trips are $275. This cost includes a site donation, travel expenses, lodging, and most food. The food it does not cover is if the group decides to stop for food on the way down or back and or if you guys decide to go to a restaurant. It is an awesome service opportunity and a way to spend some of the freezing cold break in Florida. While one of our winter trips filled, the trip to Sebring, Florida did not fill from our members. Sebring is located in central Florida on a lake and is also surrounded by lakes. It is not far from Lake Placid. In addition, Sebring has lots of different attractions for the afternoons/nights off. This trip leaves on 1/4 and returns on 1/10. This trip will take approximately 16 hours. There are still about 10 spots left on the Sebring trip. So if you are interested please contact Aaroon Loochtan ([log in to unmask]) or Katie Young ([log in to unmask]) ASAP as we will need to know by the Tuesday after Thanksgiving break (or at least contact us by then if you're interested). Lastly, in order to reserve a spot you must have a check ready, we cannot reserve spots without a payment. We really appreciate your chapter's help! If five or more members sign up, Habitat would be willing to give you guys a FREE weekend trip for your members next semester (these are in high demand and we charge $150 for a group normally and a great chance for philanthropy). Anyone is welcome to come!

Thanks So Much!!!
