History, if it is not to be repeated, requires that we constantly critique,
analyze, and project our selves into new dimensions, new directions, and
new horizons. Help me explore these new horizons, new vistas facing the
African Diaspora, as it confronts the New Millennium. What challenges are
before us, what strategies are we to pursue, what types of institutional
reformations must we accomplish. What has (our should be our response to
)recent events/processes - to include conservative political and economic
backlashes (reversal civil rights or erosion of civil rights, the
inadequacy of integration, assimilation, and accommodation) , 911,
terrorist, imperialism, racial profiling, racial identity politics,
redefinition of whiteness, color blind racism, human gnome and racial
reasoning...etc.... I have a contract to produce this volume, with JAI
press. I need papers, along these themes..send me abstracts
ASAP. Decisions will be forthcoming. This book is scheduled to be
published within the next 6 months. So lets see if we can make it happen.
