Subject: [THEDRUM] Nominations to Committee on Faculty Rights and Responsibilities & University Senate

Bonjour à tous,

I am respectively asking for your nomination for one of seats on the Committee on Faculty Rights and Responsibilities.

For those who may not know me, I have been at Miami University for more than two decades (now in my 23rd year at Miami).
In 2001, I became the first Black full professor in the history of the KNH Department and School of Education, Health and Society (EHS). The School of EHS was founded in 1902.

I have never severed on the R&R Committee, but highly value and appreciate the work of this Committee, as I have had to use the Committee during my tenure at Miami University.

I also ask that you consider me for your nomination to one of the at-large seats on University Senate.

I last served on University Senate in 2005 and would welcome the opportunity to serve you and other faculty again.

Thank you for your consideration.

Merci beaucoup,
Reginald
