Dear Rodney, Could you please share with members of the DRUM the devastating
news of the sudden passing of Professor of Art History dele jegede's son,
Ayodele. Ayodele Jegede was 29 years old with no apparent health conditions
and passed away in his sleep while visiting his family at home for
Christmas. Please keep dele and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
> Ayodele Jegede, who answered a summary summon to eternity on December 23,
> 2011, lived up to his Yoruba name, which is Joy. He brought bundles of joy to
> our family and to all those who knew him. Brilliant, witty, full of charm, vim
> and vigor, kind, loving and generous, Ayo will remain forever green and fresh
> in our memories. Born in Bloomington, Indiana, in September 1982, Ayo attended
> South Vigo High School, Terre Haute, Indiana (class of 2000) and Indiana
> University, Bloomington (2000-2003) where he graduated in record time with two
> degrees: Political Science, and Philosophy. He received the MA in
> International Relations from Brown University (2008) and was a third and final
> year law student at Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he focused on Tax Law
> and had only one semester to graduate.
>
> Ayo is survived by a sister, two brothers, and two parents. Joy. Forever. Ayo.
> Forever in our hearts.
