Story about John Brunner leaving his position as Fairfield City School
District's spokesman says Audrey Elder, formerly the director of public
relations for Miami University Hamilton, will take over the position.

Miami University men's basketball coach Charlie Cole has announced that
Frankie Smith will be the new assistant coach replacing Don Moormeier, who
retired from coaching last April.

Minority students and their allies Tuesday won seats at the defense table
for when the University Michigan's racial admissions policies go to trial.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit in Cincinnati said they could
intervene in two suits by whites who were denied admission to the
undergraduate liberal arts college and law school.

Playing the stock market pays off for business students at Georgetown
College, which lets them handle part of its endownment each year. The
latest eight-member team reported an 82.6 percent return on investments
from August 1998 to April 1999.
