Miami University sends more students abroad to study than any other school
in Ohio, ranking the school among the country's leaders.

study overseas.  Many of those students graduated today, at Miami's
commencement.

academic credit for studying abroad, according to the Institute for
International Education.

Stewart Elementary School fifth-graders have been learning how to bridge
the gaps in their community through the "Building Bridges" program at the
school.  One aspect of the multi-faceted program  was a partnership between
fifth-graders and Miami University journalism students from Hugh Morgan's

An early morning fire on Saturday at a Miami University residence hall
appears to be arson.  The blaze at Hahne Hall caused smoke damage, but no

Miami students and the city of Oxford are planning a wholesome party for
tonight in order to let students celebrate the end of the year without the

Police in riot gear fired tear gas to disperse bottle-throwing students
during an annual end-of-classes celebration by thousands of students at the
University of Akron.  Seventy-seven people were arrested.
And:
There is a pledge for students graduating from college that is intended to
encourage them to find socially responsible jobs and stick to their
convictions  The pledge, sponsored by the Graduation Pledge Alliance based
at Manchester College, is also an indicator that some graduates today are
placing more emphasis on ethics than their bottom line.
