A recently released survey shows Miami University ranks sixth in the nation
for number of students who study abroad.  Quotes Miami Provost Ronald
Crutcher and Miami student Kristen Holmes, who spent her junior year in the
Asian Studies Program in Osaka, Japan.

Front-page story about Kwanzaa includes photos of the Kwanzaa celebration
at Miami University Dec. 10.

Claire Boge (music) was awarded the E. Philiips Knox Teaching Award at
Miami University's fall commencement.

Guest column about the Four Mile Valley Conservation Trust's concern about
the development of the Ohio 63/U.S. 27-bypass corridor says the Oxford

about what should be in the capsule.  Dr. Phillip Shriver, president

Rights, President Roosevelt's 1933 inaugural speech in which he asserted,
"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself," Dr. Martin Luther King
Jr.'s 1963 "I Have a Dream" speech and Neil Armstrong's 1969 message when

basketball on WMOH radio.

1999 top 10 local stories lists Miami University men's basketball player
Wally Szczerbiak's performance in the NCAA tournament as ninth.

(educational psychology) and longtime Hamilton teacher Vivian Townsel

Story about the retirement of Frank Fullan, chief financial officer of the
Fort Hamilton Hospital for 30 years, says he served on the board of Miami
