Miami University Oxford will no longer automatically admit Talawanda
students.  They will now have to qualify academically, but receive
the same consideration in enrollment decisions as "legacies" or
applicants with Miami connections.  Quotes Steve Snyder (president's

Richard Burr former defense attorney for Timothy McVeigh will speak
at Millett Hall for convocation as part of the summer reading
program. The topic is "Dead Man Walking".  Quotes William Gracie

Wright State University and Miami University's Richard  T. Farmer
School of Business will co-host Entrepreneurs Only Camp.  The camp
runs July 22-27 at WSU.

The Cincinnati Post, Wednesday July 18
University of Tennessee trustees are expected to approve a 15 percent
increase in tuition.  The Tennessee Board of Regents approved a
similar increase on Tuesday for all universities, community colleges
and technical schools.

Tim Flanigan was attacked by a shark on Amelia Island, FL. He has 13
stitches in his foot. He graduated from LaSalle High School and will
go to Miami University in the fall.
