O'Farrell's Outfitters in Oxford is closing its doors after 13 years as the
father-son owners, Robert and Chris Henke, look to retirement and a new
home, respectively.  Chris began managing his father's store while still a

A two-month study by the Courier which compared the University of
Cincinnati to nine peer colleges, all of them public research universities,
and most of them in metro markets of more than 1 billion people, showed
that, despite a decade of effort, UC remains a mediocre college when
compared to the nation's major academic centers.  To make matters worse,
Ohio's historic lack of support for higher education and UC's own lack of
