On Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that educators who fail to stop
students from sexually harassing other students may be violating a federal
anti-bias law and can be forced to pay victims.  Miami University already
covers student complaints about other students in its sexual harassment
policy, said Holly Wissing (news and public information).

Former Oxford resident Beth Hannon has returned to Oxford as director of
the Visitors and Convention Bureau and says one new market she wants to
target is people who would enjoy Miami University's many arts, cultural and
educational offerings.  "I'm working with the (Miami University) Art Museum
and Performing Arts Series to market their events with weekend packages at
the wonderful bed-and-breakfast in town," Hannon said.
