PBS not quite a month ago. She's the first woman and also the first
producer to hold this position.  She joins Diane to talk about her
career in broadcasting and production, and about her ideas for the
future of public television.

11-12: Philip Kunhardt III and Hugh Sidey: Philip Kunhardt (KOON
hart) and Hugh Sidey discuss "The American President," a new book and
television series on the forty-one men who have served in our
nation's highest elected office.  They'll talk about the themes and
comparisons they've drawn out of their historical research and modern
observances. ("The American President" is published by Riverhead, and
