news on Elian Gonzalez, the anti-globalization protests in

11-12: Kate Buford: Kate Buford (BYOO ford) discusses her new
biography of movie star Burt Lancaster, who is remembered mainly as
the handsome, sensual star of films like "From Here to Eternity."
"Burt Lancaster: An American Life" (Knopf) completes the image with
information about his circus career, his political activism, and his
successful foray into independent filmmaking.



    Fresh Air with Terry Gross, 12:06-1 p.m.

Terry Gross talks with ERIC IDLE, one of the six original members of
Monty Python's Flying Circus. IDLE wrote many of the songs from the
show including "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life."
