week's top news stories, including the latest developments in what's
sure to be remembered as one of the most controversial and confusing
presidential elections in U.S. history. Guests: Tony Blankley,
Washington Times; Susan Page, USA Today; Daniel Schorr, NPR
Hour Two: Art Spiegelman & Francoise Mouly: Writer and artist
Art Spiegelman is the Pulitzer-prize-winning author of "MAUS." His
wife, Francoise Mouly, is art director of The New Yorker Magazine.
Together, they have produced a book called "Little Lit"
(HarperCollins) -- a collection of classic and original children's
stories, illustrated by some of today's leading comics artists. They
join Diane to talk about the role the two of them have played in the
evolution of comics, by taking a form of children's entertainment,
turning it into an avant-garde art form, and now returning it to a
new generation of young readers.

Fresh Air (Noon - 1p.m.):
For Veterans' Day, a World War Two veteran remembers an
ill-fated attack on German soldiers that only he and two others in
his platoon survived. And two former P-O-Ws discuss their years of
captivity in Hanoi, and how they survived repeated torture.

Public Interest (1p.m. - 2p.m.):
MIXING ELEMENTS FROM JAZZ, BLUEGRASS, AND CLASSICAL
TRADITIONS, THE MUSIC OF PIANIST BRUCE HORNSBY IS AS RICH AS IT IS
UNPREDICTABLE. HORNSBY JOINS KOJO FOR AN HOUR OF MUSIC AND REFLECTION.

TAKE US NOW? A discussion of what the constitution says about how to
resolve this unprecedented presidential election.
Hour Two: MEDIA'S USE OF EXIT POLLING: how the media has been
covering the presidential race.
