** DIANE's book tour is going on this week. Her memoir, "Finding My Voice,"
is in bookstores now.  Over the next several weeks, she'll be in and out.

10-11 Open Phones: Diane opens the phone lines for an hour of conversation
with listeners around the country. She'll talk about anything from the
day's headlines to her experiences on her ongoing book tour.

11-12: David Ignatius: Washington Post columnist David Ignatius discusses
his new novel, "The Sun King." It's the story of a mysterious billionaire
who shakes up Washington when he comes to town and buys up the capital's
daily newspaper.



   Fresh Air with Terry Gross, 12:06-1 p.m.

Noted scientist Jane Goodall reflects on her life, studying chimpanzees in
the wild, and her scientific and religious beliefs.  Her new book is
"Reason For Hope."  It's also the subject of an upcoming PBS special.

This will be his last week on the show.

pardons

HOUR TWO:  KIDS AND WORKING PARENTS: the surprising results of a study of
children's attitudes about working parents
