The Diane Rehm Show (10am - Noon); guest host Laura Knoy

scientific findings that challenge some of the most widely held
assumptions about how matter behaves, and have the potential to
reshape our ideas about how the universe was born. Guests: Mario
Livio, Space Telescope Science Institute; Christopher Churchill,
Pennsylvania State U.; Vera Rubin, Carnegie Institution
Hour two: Cortney Davis: Cortney Davis, a nurse practitioner
in a busy women's clinic, writes of women's health and women's bodies
in her book "I Knew a Woman" (Random House). She tells stories based
on patients she's treated, as well as her own experiences on both
sides of a medical examination.

CENTURY, MANY CHOSE DEATH OVER EXCRUCIATINGLY PAINFUL SURGERY. FIND

for one year after he was caught lying to his students. Has tenure
lost its high status? Juan Williams talks with educators and others.

All Things Considered (4pm - 7pm)
A concert performance where audience members are not only
welcome to bring their cell phones, they're asked to keep them turned
ON. It's those phones that serve as the instruments in the Dialtones
Telesymphony, as dialing musicians bring the whole concert hall to
life.
