Hour One: Former Forest Service head Mike Dombeck: Dr. Mike
Dombeck was head of the Forest Service under President Clinton and
stepped down recently after Bush administration officials told him
they wanted to move "in a different direction." He joins Diane to
talk about his work with the service, the primary issues he dealt
with, his hopes for forest management policy under President Bush,
and his own plans for the future.
Hour Two: neuroscientist Robert Sapolsky: As a child,
Sapolsky: wanted to be a mountain gorilla when he grew up. In his new
book, "A Primate's Memoir" (Scribner), he tells how that dream led
him to spend 20 years in Kenya studying a troop of baboons.

Massachusetts, a court fight over child support payments got started
with a DNA test. For years, a man paid support for a little girl.
Then a test proved he's not her father. Now a court is considering
whether he should still be forced to make payments.
