U.S. news for international audiences join Diane to talk about
reactions abroad to the drawn-out presidential election and other
American news. Guests: Paolo Sotero, O Estado de Sao Paolo (Brazil);
Sylvie Kaufman, Le Monde (France); Martin Kettle, The Guardian
(Britain); Claus Kleber, ARD TV (Germany)
        2: Judith Viorst: Judith Viorst, author of numerous books for
both adults and children, has celebrated the advent of each stage of
her life with a volume of poems.  She's published "It's Hard to be
Hip over Thirty," "How did I Get to be Forty," and "Forever Fifty" in
turn.  Now she welcomes a new decade with her latest collection of
comic verse, "Suddenly Sixty" (Simon & Schuster).

"The Hustler", "Bonnie and Clyde", "Serpico", "Dog Day Afternoon" and
