The Diane Rehm Show (10am - Noon)
Hour one: Mexican Trucks in the U.S.: Labor and trucking
industry representatives and members of Congress are pushing for
restrictions on the travel of Mexican trucks on U.S. roads. Among
other concerns, they believe the trucks frequently don't meet U.S.

terms of the North American Free Trade Agreement. A panel talks about
Mexican trucks on U.S. roads, NAFTA, and how the US is adjusting to
its role in the global economy. Guests: Bret Caldwell, Teamsters'
Union; John Lawrence, National Association of Manufacturers; Lael
Brainard, Brookings Institution
Hour two: Joyce Murdoch and Deb Price: Over the past
half-century, the Supreme Court has heard a great variety of cases

back on some of the milestone decisions and examine the social forces
that shaped the justices' actions in their new book, "Courting
Justice" (Basic Books).
