Hour one: Powell in Asia: In the last week Secretary of State Colin
Powell met with top officials in Australia, China, South Korea, Vietnam,
and Japan. A panel talks about what came out of that trip and the future
of U-S foreign policy in the Asia-Pacific region. GUESTS Amb. Richard
Solomon, U.S. Institute of Peace and former Asst. Sec. of State for East
Asian Affairs; former U.S. Ambassador to the Philippines; Mike
Jendrzejczyk, Human Rights Watch; andErnie Bower, US-ASEAN Business

Hour two:  Matthew Brzezinski: Reporter Matthew Brzezinski tells tales
from his 1996-1998 stint as a correspondent based in Moscow. His book
"Casino Moscow" (Free Press) depicts a Russia whose economic
transformation is fast, frenzied and full of gangsters.

levels. Learn how residents are dealing with the stress and anxiety of
renewed violence in the Middle East. Hear from a Palestinian
psychiatrist living in Gaza and an Israeli psychiatrist living in Tel
Aviv.

Hour one: WHAT MAKES A GOOD FBI DIRECTOR? GUESTS: HARVEY SILVERGLATE,
Attorney who has represented people investigated and prosecuted by the
FBI, Board Member and Past President of the ACLU of
 Massachusetts; OLIVER "BUCK" REVELL, Former Associate Deputy Director
of the FBI, Responsible for Investigative and Intelligence Operations.
Confirmation hearings begin Monday for President Bush's choice to head
the FBI, Bob Mueller. The hearings are expected to be routine, but after
confirmation, Bob Mueller will be taking the helm of the FBI as it is
losing public trust and mired in controversy. President Bush, and the
country,
will be looking to Mueller to turn the agency around. But does he have
the right stuff for the job? Guest host  Melinda Penkava and a
roundtable of experts discuss what makes an effective FBI director
