Quick note that I thought was very cool.  White-eyed Vireos (WEVI) have 
dark eyes when their young--the eyes gradually change color as they age 
--we banded this SY WEVI (maybe about 9 months old?) whose eyes were 
changing color giving him a very unusual look! [I also included an adult 
bird banded on 17 May with the "white" eyes.
