Earlham's Ornithology course visited Whitewater State Park this
morning -- working mainly around the ramp onto Brookville Lake.
Beautiful weather and lots of movement on among killdeer and
blackbirds. One flock of Canada Goose was high and moving north. A
few FOY for me.

Green-winged Teal 15
Canvasback 1

Sandhill Crane 82 (dancing on mudflats before flying off in small
groups toward local corn fields)
Killdeer 22 (all fly overs)
Bonaparte's Gull 3 (all in basic plumage)
Ring-billed Gull 250
EASTERN PHOEBE 1 FOY (calling near picnic shelter by the ramp)
TREE SWALLOW 3 FOY (males at nest boxes in park)
