and social interaction skills.  Diane and her guests discuss the

for Autism Research, and father of an autistic child; Kay Cullinan:
doctoral candidate and researcher at the Kennedy Krieger Institute
for Autism and Related Disorders in Baltimore; Jaime Parent: board
treasurer of the Autism Society of America and father of an autistic
child; Temple Grandin: person with autism, author of memoir "Thinking
In Pictures" and assistant professor of animal science at Colorado
State U.

11-12: Robert Ballard: Robert Ballard discusses his pioneering career
in deep-sea exploration.  He's taken part in over one hundred
undersea expeditions, including the discovery of the wreckage of the
Titanic. His new book is called "The Eternal Darkness" (Princeton)

The president's chief of staff, or rather, the guy who plays one on
TV. Actor JOHN SPENCER plays Leo McGarry on the program "The West
Wing." He also had a recurring role on "L.A. Law" and began his
