I wonder why I didn't see Dede's original post
entitled "holy fuck"???? I am not so far gone that I
wouldn't remember seeing a title like that one, am I??
Wait, don't answer that, y'all...
I have a very similiar reaction (i.e. falling out of
chairs) when I hear The Connells being played on the
radio. It involves much dancing around and
woo-hoo-ing, followed by deep knee bend worship at the
Connells alter I have set up in my living room,
thanking the music gods for a mini Connells radio
miracle. What an odd song to hear on the radio,
though. That station doesn't even usually play the
guys, does it, Dede?
Has anyone noticed that when an artist has a new CD
coming out, that radio stations start to play old
stuff by that artist again? Maybe someone in the
so-called "industry" (haHA) has heard about the new
Connells CD. But Gauntlet??? How strange...
