Just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy New Year!  Spent mine in
Chapel Hill with the Mayflies--had a great time, altho' not as great as
last year's New Year's Eve spent in Raleigh with the 'Nells.

Re: Mayflies--they'll be playing some label showcase-type show at
Mercury Lounge in New York City on Jan. 31.  They go on at 9:30.
Everyone in that area should try to see them--they played 4 new songs
last night that *I* hadn't even heard, and I last saw them at Thanksgiving!
