The Diane Rehm Show (10am - Noon)
Hour One: Campaign Finance Reform: The McCain-Feingold
campaign finance reform bill is back in the news. A panel talks about
what chances campaign finance reform legislation has in Congress and
in the White House, and how it might be altered in the legislative
process. Guests: Jan Baran, attorney; Tom Mann, Brookings
Institution; Meredith McGehee, Common Cause
Hour Two: Nina Bernstein: Journalist Nina Bernstein focuses
on one of New York City's most complex and challenging foster care
cases in her new book "The Lost Children of Wilder" (Pantheon). She

girl and her baby son were let down by the system, and to talk about
how the case changed New York's child welfare system.

imperial China.
