Hello,

I hope everyone had a successful first week of classes and is adjusting
well to their new schedules.

As I have mentioned before, SWE has been invited to a tour of Miller
Brewing Company. The tour will take place on Tuesday, February 1st, 2005.
We will leave Oxford at approximately 4 - 4:15pm in order to arrive by
5pm. It is imperative that 20 people attend the tour. The tour is
designed for a group of that size and I assured my contact that we would
comply. The tour concludes with an interesting workshop on gender
communication differences in the workplace. We are going to stop someone
for dinner too. We should return to Oxford around 9pm.

I need you to respond to me, at [log in to unmask] or at
[log in to unmask], to let me know if you can definitely attend.
Also, please note if you will be a ,(we need them!), or a rider.

If you are concerned with missing a class or two, do not fret. Dr. Abrams
is preparing a letter explaining the educational nature of the tour. I
believe that your absence will be an excused one if you give your
professor advanced warning and provide a copy of the letter. (Letters
will be available at our next meeting: 1/24/05, 135 Kreger, 7pm.)

Thank you, and please get back to me! Let's show Miller that we are a
responsible chapter.

SWE Love,
Meghan

P.S. TOTE BAGS ARE IN. THEY WILL BE AT OUR MEETING!
