True story from a few days ago:

While President Bush was selling the social security program in Omaha,
Nebraska, he started talking to a Mary Mornin, who is a divorced mother
of three, in her late fifties, with a son who is ‘mentally challenged.’

Mary told the president, “I work three jobs and I feel like I
contribute.”

The President replied, “You work three jobs?”

Mary responded, “Three jobs, yes.”

The President, “Uniquely American, isn't it? I mean, that is fantastic
that you're doing that. (Applause) Get any sleep? (Laughter.)”
