See the back page of yesterday's student newspaper, "Fighting Sioux sour Miami opener; MU rocks Wayne" about intercollegiate ice hockey. 

 Yes, the University of North Dakota continues to use its nickname...using the arguments  that it's respectable and that alumni giving would significant drop if the nickname were changed.

I wonder if Matt Sohn (who wrote the article), the editor, or the faculty advisor even thought about offensive nicknames?
