Congratulations to all students who presented and attended our NASP
conference this year! School psychology students and faculty from
other programs were extremely impressed that we had 17 students in
attendance this year. An added congrats to those of you who
presented -- you all did an exceptional job! I hope that the
learning experiences of attending presentations, interacting with
other program students and trainers in our field, and "exercising" on
the dance floor were also beneficial to you.

You are fortunate at Miami to also receive some monetary assistance
to enhance professional development. As you know, there is money
through the Graduate School, GSA, EDP and EAP for attending or
presenting. So, here is what to do....

1. If you'd like to receive Departmental funding, complete an EDP
Professional Development form and return to Jennifer Turner by April
12. You can anticipate receiving at least $50 from the department
but possibly a bit more.

2. Give Jamie Ballinger your receipts for any Department, EAP
Division, and Graduate School reimbursements. When you complete
applications to the Graduate School and Department, Jamie will have
those names and amount. EAP will provide $100 for each student
presenter who doesn't receive money from a school district (interns);
she has names already.

3. For AGS, turn in air and hotel on your own through their
application process.

I will send a separate email about sending your NASP posters to Jamie
for our website, as well as presenting at our Distinguished Scholar luncheon.
